RK ROYAL KLUDGE R87 Pro Wired Mechanical Keyboard

The keyboards clicks are nice sounding and the quality of the keyboard itself is nice, the lighting on the sides are a nice touch and the knob can be changed to do different things which is super handy, definitely recommend

Súper bien teclado, muy buena calidad, es pesado, se oyen muy bien las teclas muy recomendado

Excelente producto, la sensación al tacto es muy buena, es resistente y para juegos responde muy bien.

This keyboard is feature-packed, and at about $56.00 at the time of this review, with coupon, it's a great value.

I included a short video so you can hear and see how the keys respond.

Pros:
Key puller included so you can swap keys and switches
Switches are lubricated for an excellent feel, like you might expect from an expensive keyboard
No flex
Bright backlight
Double-shot keycaps
The "volume" knob is nicely knurled metal, and it's swappable
The keys feel and sound absolutely great

My only complaint, and it's very minor, is that you need to press a key combination to set the keyboard into Windows mode. Just once, but you'll want to do it if you have Windows.

I'm confident that you'll love this keyboard!

So far it’s great! I was a bit hesitant before buying as I made the mistake of reading what people on Reddit thought. So many people complaining that “you get what you pay for” and how such a keyboard would never meet their high standards.

Now that I have my hands on it it’s obvious those guys are consumerist dweebs. This keyboard is nice, clean, decent material, works well, looks beautiful, and great tactile clicks on the keys and the volume knob.

We’ll see how long it lasts, but I expect it will be a while, so good purchase!

nice when it was working, unable to get the web interface to do anything, and now have keys that are not working. Their customer service is laughable at best. You would better off spending a little more and getting a better quality KB. Wouldn't recommend

UPDATE
Seller reached out and offered support on my keyboard issues. after some back and forth I settled on exchanging it for a different model. so far so good. Customer support was great and I felt like that listened to my issues and offered options to make it right.

Amazing, I was replacing an older rk royal witch was a beast of a keyboard. I wanted a volume knob so I got this one. I got to say the way it feels is soo guddddd! For the price. Ive had it for bout a year ish now, no problems so far.

keycaps quality can be better

This is a decent mechanical keyboard

Its been awhile.
After having this keyboard for awhile, i think it is actually pretty great.
The soft keys are really different to what i had before. So it took me awhile to get used to it.
I think the switches probably can not be removed. At least i am not sure about it.
So in the future i probably getting a little more expensive version of it.
Otherwise i have no complainets. Heavy enough and reliable and i appreciate that i can use it with just the usb cable. This was really important to me.

It was a great gift for a friend!

Good value for the price, mechanical keys, RGB, volume knob, lubricated switches

It really feels like a premium keyboard, well packaged and delivered on time.

Cumple con lo esperado.

Great item

It’s perfect

Keyboard feels quite good for the price, and mainly I bought it for VIA programming, which works very well. However, several months in, it has developed a problem with double typing in multiple keys. The keyboard has been well maintained, so this is disappointing from a longevity standpoint. Still recommend, but likely wont last as long as better built keyboards.

Llego bien el teclado aunque el anuncio decía que era bluethoo y no llego así solo por cable

This is one of the best keyboards I have bought. It is so smooth and tactile feedback is amazing

The primary reason I've docked a star is that (sadly) the knob just feels wobbly and cheap to me. The knurling is okay, but I think the horizontal movement in the volume knob really makes the whole keyboard feel cheaper, which is a daily letdown. Similarly, I'm not a fan of the grey plastic around the edges of the board--it has kind of a cheap texture. The keycaps feel great and high quality, though, which mostly makes up for it.

If they offered offered a better color combination, or offered a non-knob version (or improved the knob?), I would be excited to buy another one in the future to hot swap different switches.

The RK is somehow more expensive but feels less premium than my Keychron C1 Pro. However, the Kludge is just fun to type on, and I tried swapping in a couple different switches and found their switches to be extremely easy to remove. I swapped in Gateron Beer tactical switches and found they compliment nicely. The stock keycaps also feel really great to me and I would've loved to buy an alternate color combination if they sold them separately.

i received this keyboard a few days ago and i am already loving it. as a female gamer, this keyboard is the best size for small hands. i didnt buy this keyboard for the sound the keys make, but i love the way the creamy switches sound.

Feels amazing fast feedback everything I could’ve asked for

Nice sound, no ghosting etc

Works wonderful, lovely sound

Love this keyboard. You feel you are typing in the cloud. The sound when you are typing is satisfying.

Good keyboard, quiet, the problem is the letters are small and typing is slow, but for people with good eyes should not be a problem.

Super solid, well built, and the battery lasts for ages. The PBR keycaps have a quality matte touch and they button out with a satisfying thud. The creamy switches aren't very loud and they are perfect for everyday use such as typing or gaming. I'm the proud owner of dozens of keyboards, mostly on the high end, and surprisingly this one is my favorite. This proves you don't need to spend a lot to own a top tier keyboard. If you're on the hunt for a true endgame keyboard, this is the one.
