RK ROYAL KLUDGE M75 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard

The keyboard is almost perfect. But the letters on the keys aren't transparent so it's impossible to see in the dark.

Cela fait un environ un an et demi que j'ai ce clavier.

Les + :
- esthétiquement très beau
- options de connexion en usb d'ongle, Bluetooth ou par cable
- le son des touches
- RGB

Les :
- certaines touches ont étonnamment vite fatiguées, j'en ai remplacé deux mais c'est dommage qu'elles ne soient pas très solides.

I really enjoyed the build quality.
The switchability is nice.
I put in holy Panda switches and Crystal Jelly Keyboard Key caps and now it's one of my favorite keyboards! It fills and sounds amazing! Get this on sale!

J'adore ce clavier qui est superbe, produit un son agréable et possède une bonne autonomie. En revanche, 2 touches cassées après 2 mois d'utilisation ? Je ne suis pas du genre à frapper sur mon clavier et mon ancien Keychron n'a jamais eu ce problème en plusieurs années. C'est très décevant de mettre 120€ pour cette qualité de fabrication. Je m'attends à ce que d'autres touches subissent le même sort...

EDIT : Après contact du support. Royal Kludge m'a envoyé gratuitement un double de toutes les touches du clavier ! J'ai donc mis 4 étoiles au lieu de 2

I’ve been using my Royal Kludge M75 with red switches since November. I use it for work, gaming, and writing.

Honestly a pleasure to type on. Feels and looks great. Nice, solid, but not too loud, on the thockier side of things.

Modification has been easy - swapping keycaps and switches were a cinch, and I’m pretty new to the hobby.

I love having 5 modes of connectivity. Setting up the Bluetooth was easy, and so is swapping between connection modes. I have my work laptop on 5GHz dongle, personal PC is on USB-C and BT1, tablet on BT2, and phone on BT3. Quick and consistent connections means I can actually swap naturally on the go.

Got one for my brother for Christmas and he loves it too. Texts me every couple weeks saying how nice it is over his work keyboard.

I’m sure you can find keyboards that are nicer, but I don’t know how you beat this quality at this price. I want to get other boards like the Royal Kludge RK61 and F68 because this is so good.

You should plan on getting a wrist rest - it does sit high, but that’s standard for non-low profile keyboards.

Shown here with custom keycaps from Amazon, and about to get some upgraded switches (PS I love the the reds that come with the board and they still work great, just wanted to try something else)

J'ai acheté le clavier le 2 mai 2024 , disons que j'ai commencé son utilisation le 5 mai :
voici mes retours :
Au niveau de l'utilisation sans fil, c'est niquel. pas de décalage ou que sais-je, également il charge bien et a une bonne autonomie.
Le logiciel du clavier est en anglais ,et est utile pour ce qui doit l'être ( les led etc.)

Maintenant le gros soucis : les Keycaps,
Déjà , lors de son arrivé, j'avais le "clips" du switch de la keycaps fissuré, résultat pas de touche suppr, mais étant donné que c'est pas une touche que j'utilise constamment, je m'en fiche, j'était un peu déçu mais sans plus.
Maintenant je tiens à noter que je suis joueurs pc depuis beaucoup d'année, j'écris relativement vite et je tape "fort" avec mes doigts, le soucis ? La touche 8 s'est fissuré aussi. ducoup j'ai enlevé le keycaps aussi car le "clips " s'est fissuré , et a fini par se cassé. j'ai voulu la laissé tant bien que mal mais ça l'as juste cassé.
C'est le seul soucis que j'ai a notifié. autonomie OK, poids etc OK , agréable au toucher, a l'écriture et le son également est bon.

déçu des keycaps qui se "casse" (la photo sera plus explicit.)
Tout le reste est top. peut être je n'ai pas eu de chance sur ces 2 touches qui avait un défaut ? je laisse le doute planer.
Si vous chercher un clavier en 75% il est niquel pour le prix. 0 soucis a part celui notifié plus haut.
MODIF :
Aprés avoir fait appel au SAV, ils m'ont envoyé un lot entier de keycaps. a leur frais. et j'en suis clairement content. je n'ai plus aucun soucis, c'est un pur régal !

Modif a nouveau : plusieurs mois après la réception des nouveaux keycaps, aucun ne s'est brisé, détaché ou autre. ils font extrêmement bien leur boulot. de plus l'appuie des touches est toujours aussi agréable après plusieurs mois d'utilisation.

Ich habe sie jetzt schon ein paar Wochen in Benutzung und sie fühlt und hört sich top an!
Mir ist gerade nur aufgefallen, dass das kleine Display zerkratzt ist.. hätte man vielleicht die kleine Schutzfolie drauf lassen sollen... Das kleine Display ist sehr Kratzer empfindlich.

I've been using RK for years now and rely on their devices for multiple settings. At home I use the M75 for my work devices via Bluetooth, desktop via the 2.4ghz dongle, and USB when running low on battery.

The M75 does mute the red keys, but i prefer that sound over the clicky feel I get on my M60.

I only had one issue with the M75 screen going out, but their support team shipped me a new one after sharing the issues.

Such an amazing keyboard, it is wireless and wired, very good lgb lights, and the options are limitless.

I purchased one of these keyboards around November and it worked great for around 5 months, but then it stopped working. None of the keys worked, including the knob. I could not turn it off or change it from USB mode and the rgb was not lighting up, but the little screen still showed the battery life. I brought this issue to support and they walked me through some potential fixes, but none of them worked. As soon as it was clear that the keyboard was unable to be fixed, they offered to send me a new one. They responded extremely quickly and I even had conversations with them over email over the course of the same day. Great keyboard and fantastic customer support.

je pense que c'est un bon clavier mais pour l'instant il est retourné dans sa boite suite à une touche défectueuse après juste 2 mois d'utilisation qu'on ne veux pas me remplacer et c'est un peu dommage sur un clavier de ce prix là.
Bon à noter que leur service support est super réactif et cela c'est un bon point.

I got the Red Switches and they sound different then my other keyboard with the same switches because I’m assuming there are some mods on this board which makes it sound “thocky.”

If you’re planning on changing the switches, the space bar might be an issue because it doesn’t properly go down and up (or at least with the switches I used)

Only one issue I’ve had with this board and it’s how one of the lights on my keyboard is permanently blue? I’m not sure if that’s intentional.

• Akko Yellow V3 Pro Switches
• HyperX White Pudding Keycaps (not all of them fit, would not recommend these for this keyboard)

I use this keyboard for typing. I'm a student and I write a decent amount. The battery life also seems to last a while but I also haven't used it for a long period of time daily. While typing it can be easy to slip over to other keys which I believe is common for red key switches as they are typically used for gaming. Once you get used to that it is smooth to type on. The backlit colors are vibrant. I recommend overall.

This was a great purchase with it's solid construction two height levels for the feet so you can choose which is the right angle for you. As for the battery it's pretty great lasint about 2-3 days of moderate to heavy use before needing to be charged. But it comes with a type c charger to type c, but also included is a type c to USB if your pc doesn't have enough type c ports like my old pc.. I can't wait to see what royal kludge comes out with next it seems they really take feedback from consumers and implement in each new keyboard they come out with. 10/10

This budgets mechanical keyboards are getting better and better.

Bought the version with the red switches, they feel very very smooth, especially for me coming from some Durock Silent Linears.

This had almost everything you can ask from a mechanical keyboard:

- Hotswap switches
- Adjustable feets
- Volume Knob (for those who love it)
- RGB
- Tri-Mode
- Oled Screen

And I say almost everything because the RGB is north facing, it may cause interference with some keycaps, is a lesser issue this days but be aware.

Overall very happy with this keyboard, to the point I'm still using it stock.

I only use a keyboard for gaming so always tried brand names like corsair. I never experienced something this amazing before. I never knew a keyboard can feel so good. It's so soft and satisfying to type in.

Already noticed the weight on this keyboard and something about that just feels so nice. The board texture feels nice too. I got the red switches and it feels incredible just the stock version. It has such a premium feel to it and it looks pretty. I'm glad it has rgb I know others don't like but I literally can't see when I'm gaming at night.

I would recommend anyone to get this at the price I got it for. Best bang for buck in my opinion

I specifically bought this product because I was led to believe that it had north facing LEDs as my plan was to replace the keycaps with ones that allow shine through. There are no official statements on the LED positioning here or on their official website but there is one official product photo of the keyboard PCB which shows them facing north, two reviews which mention the north facing LEDs, and two customer photos that show the north LEDs. I can say as of 9/25/2023 I was delivered a product with south facing LEDs as show in the attached photo.
If LED positioning does not bother you then otherwise the product seems great, it would probably be my new daily driver, but I will be returning this one.

It wasn't as purple as it shows on the listing. More blueish imo, other than that this keyboard is great!

This keyboard exceeded all my expectations. The build is very sturdy and heavy. Everything is made with quality. It’s not thin at all. A lot of thought went into this build. The Bluetooth option on the keyboard was very easy to connect and use. If you are looking for budget friendly keyboard that has a mod feel, this keyboard is it. I feel like I’m typing on clouds. The sound is very quiet and very smooth. I got red switches and they are amazing. I really love this keyboard and I’m super glad with my purchase. The only thing I would say is different would be the color of the key caps. In the picture they are more of a lavender color but in person it looks like a steel blue/purple. I actually like it a lot more. I would definitely purchase from this company again.

This keyboard sounds fantastic out of the box. No mods needed. The modifiers and spacebar on most keyboards will sound hollow and annoying, but not on this one. They are well padded and they don't annoy whatsoever. I replaced the switches with lubed+filmed silent alpacas and the keycaps with white pudding ones for a silent typing experience, but the out-of-the-box sound and overall material is awesome.
