RK ROYAL KLUDGE L75 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard

This is my fist kind of a custom keyboard, I never had a keyboard like this before and I would say that I am extremely happy with it, the feeling is really unique, the sound that it makes and its smoothness when I press the keys is really satisfying, besides all the functions that it has the knob that adjust volume and mute when is pressed or any function that you want to assign it, and for my line of work is pretty useful, I am a 3D sculptor and for productivity having those 5 macro keys just in the left side where my hand is most of the time to access faster shortcuts is the top of cream! the software also is very helpful with assigning any kind of shortcut to any key.

Overall, I am very happy with this keyboard!

Plethora of settings, not too big or too small, the keys are spaced perfectly, comfortable, sounds nice.

Don’t even question your choice, just get it.

Best at the price point.

I recently switched from a high-end gaming keyboard that starts with an "A" to the Royal Kludge, and I couldn’t be happier. It's less gimmicky and far more focused on quality materials and long-term usability. For its price, it’s genuinely hard to beat.

Final Thoughts:
If you're looking for a well-built keyboard that excels in both gaming and typing, the Royal Kludge is a fantastic choice. It doesn’t rely on flashy gimmicks—just solid materials and smart design. Easily one of the best value keyboards I’ve come across.

This Royal Kludge wireless keyboard has lots of features. It connects easily to my MacBook via bluetooth and has no trouble powering down to save battery and gets right back on track without a hitch. The retro color scheme in coffee and the lights sweeping across will give you flashbacks to fording a river.

It's not abundantly clear so it's worth noting that there is indeed a 2.4G receiver included with a magnetic storage slot on the back. When I popped it into the front of my Xbox Series X, I did get connectivity and could easily use the RK keyboard to type in chat.

On the negative side of things it's not the quietest keyboard, and with the keys not having lit characters, the backlight may be more cosmetic than practical.

recorrido de la teclas bastante corto, excelente ergonimia

Amazing sound and quality, connects perfectly to my MacBook and my Xbox series s. Rbg looks amazing and couldn’t be any happier with it.

Keyboard is very nice, it has nice material making it feel premium and heavy duty, it has many features such as customizations. The keycaps are also very smooth and soft. I would recommend this is a good gaming / work keyboard for a long term use. But it got delivered very late until I had to reach out for customer support to get an idea about my package.

Absolut hochwertige Tastatur.
Vielen Dank

Great quality, typing feels amazing and there's a ton of customisation options in the software. Playing valiant, Path of exile, Mona's is more enjoyable now.
Very very happy with the purchase

Very nice keyboard. Love the colour, and it’s very sturdy, on the heavier side for a plastic keyboard. Sounds something between creamy and clacky. I’d prefer a less hollow clacky sound and something more mellow, but that’s just a preference...

Here is one thing I don’t like: the gasket is very stiff and barely moves. Doesn’t bother me that much, but it is slightly disappointing. There’s no difference in typing on this keyboard vs a mechanical keyboard without the fancy gaskets.

Besides, the key caps aren’t shine through. They don’t need to be, since the brown vintage colour motif doesn’t match with RGB anyway, however that is still a downside; since it defeats the practical purpose of RGB allowing you to see the buttons in low light environments. This isn’t that problematic, but still worth pointing out.

Overall, highly recommend. A sturdy, nicely built keyboard that looks gorgeous and feels great to type on.

Very nice board. On the cheaper side but high quality, a very nice option to have for enthusiasts out there that couldn't do group buys. The thock is great. Switching between mode is straight forward. I only ran into an issue with the 2.4 GHz dongle not recognizing my board once and it fixed itself pretty after a reboot. I see that RK have Hall Effect board in their lineup, so I'll be on the lookout for when those have discounts to try them out alongside this great board.

One of the best keyboards I have owned, amazing for its price.

Very nice quiet keybord.

Overall decent feel and sound for the price point. The RK software is pretty meh at best, and doesn't work with linux. Easy to swap switches and key caps.

The one major issue I've had with this is the USB connection is very loose, causing the cable to constantly disconnect and reconnect so using it in wired mode isn't possible.

Yes, it was a Christmas present for my son and he really loved it. In general it’s good a good quality keyboard, it has a long battery life with is the bonus and the Bluetooth is also good and the switches are good. It’s definitely on the heavy side and without a doubt could probably be used as a backup weapon lol. No regrets on my purchase.

This keyboard was a significant upgrade from my old one, the lights are easy to use and the Bluetooth is good although I usually use it corded for less latency. Latency is on every mouse and wireless keyboard, and compared to others its extremally low. The keyboard feels very high quality and feels like, or even better, than the high end ones. There is also good battery life as well. It would be a great gift for any PC gamer or writer, especially at the price

Qualitativ so viel hochwertiger als der ganze logitech krams den ich für deutlich höhere Preise hatte
Leider kein deutsches layout, aber konnte ich recht simpel remappen und kenne die keys eh auswendig (<>| müssen extra gemapped werden)

I'm certain this is a good keyboard for somebody's needs, but my hands could not get around the placement of the programmable keys. My typing speed decreased beyond acceptable levels. Opted for the F99 from RK instead, much happier and its very similar in terms of overall size. I cannot speak to the software that goes with this device, but the keyboard produces satisfying typing if you're just connecting via USB dongle. RK's USB-A dongles are oversized and hard to install/remove if you connect to other devices frequently.

Alles sehr gut geklappt

For the money, this is insanely good. There’s literally nothing to fault about it. The cream switches are lovely and quiet. It’s sturdy, even though all plastic, and very well put together. The software is a bit flaky but does the job. Dongle needs to be pretty close to ensure a good connection. Highly recommended!

Keyboard is all fine. Only the touch panel in the corner is a bit annoying, when you want to grab and move your keyboard, it is very easy to touch it and it will fire a script for opening the rk website. But quality of the keyboard is completely fine

That is a really well made keyboard with some unique features. The construction quality on this is superb. Royal kludge may not be a brand name you might be familiar with, but they actually make good keyboards for many years now.

The switches are silky smooth, I got the linear ones.

Overall I am very happy with the keyboard with two small caveats. One is the layout takes some getting used to. I come from tkl and my muscle memory misfires hitting the macro keys on the left column. I guess it takes getting used to but if you have multiple setups with different keyboards. The other one is lack of qmk support.

This is a solidly built bit of kit and the cream keys are just 'clacky' enough to make me happy. I was looking for a replacement keyboard because my spacebar started misfiring. Before looking into this had no idea that the keyboard customisation thing was a thing. A bit like people 'pimping their rides' I guess. I haven't bought a keyboard since about 2010.
On retrospect, I would have been happier with a 95% keyboard, but went with the 75% because I had no frame of reference. I often sit with it on my knee, and to avoid personal injury sit with my legs slightly apart. Can't really do that with the 75. 1 Star off for the fact that the function keys get in the way and sit where the Tab, Caps Lock, shift and Ctrl should be. Also the software for turning off the garish RGB isn't supported on my browser making the touch key top right redundant straight out the box (if you use Edge or Chrome you'll be fine).
To be honest I've managed to repair my old keyboard and will use the RK as a back up.
That's on me, not Kludge, which incidentally is a horrible name and means something entirely different where I come from.
