Great feeling and sounding kb for the price

Satisfying to use. Color me chuffed that it didn't include the clear plastic dust cover which all my other RK keyboards have included. If this was an oversight, please send me one for the RK61 and I will update this review accordingly.

Great deal

I got it for my little gamer brother, he loves it. He said it’s customizable and easy to set up. Wireless option. Extra switches.

One out of two was RGB, good keyboard tho

So I bought a white version of this and the black. The white one that came in, solid, worked perfectly and after getting a bit used to and after getting used to it, use it for gaming. The white version came in RGB and currently have it running as rainbow (the classic thing you do with RGB). So I just ordered the black, wanted to have two, one for work and one at home. Only problem was the black isn't RGB, only has like a yellow backlight. Just makes no sense to me to have the same model of keyboard, 'different colors', do different things... (Switched the keycaps to pudding keycaps, top is the black one I recently bought, bottom is the white one I bought a while ago)

great for its value

very pretty keyboard and sounds really good as well but the keys glitch out and stop working at times, easily fixed by just resetting the keyboard but kinda inconvenient 😅 i didn’t know the rgb was gonna be only blue but its pretty either way ! overall, totally recommend

RK ROYAL KLUDGE - RED SWITCH - IN WHITE - 60% KEYBOARD

I purchased the RK ROYAL KLUDGE in white, 60% with red switches. Let me just say, this is my first day using this keyboard, however, right out of the box the keyboard felt very high quality, with some pretty obvious cost saving packaging. However, overall the presentation is very nice, the build quality is very robust and feels higher quality than the price you pay. Only noticeable thing is compared to a properly white object, the keyboard is slightly off-white. I am coming from a older corsair strafe for reference. ***picture for size reference***

This model only has one color, which if purchased in white is a blue-ish backlight. While it is limited to one color, there are a ton of interesting lighting effects you can switch through using the fn key following the user's manual.

As for the switches, I went with the reds for the linearity and quietness (ish). Also, the sound of red switches always scratch a part of my brain I can't reach. Anyways, all of the keys feels very good, including the space bar as oftentimes companies won't go for dual support on both sides of the spacebar.

I don't typically use Bluetooth so I can't speak on that regard, however the wireless connection with the USB dongle is seamless and no noticeable lag from input to screen.

The package comes with the Keyboard, wireless dongle (on the back of the keyboard), as well as a USB to interchangeable USB-C/USB cable for either charging or just having a wired connection to the computer of whatever device you are connected to. Also included is a key/switch puller, because as the ad mentioned YOU CAN HOT SWAP YOUR SWITCHES. INSANE FOR THE PRICE.

All in all, great quality for the price

Great Support

Customer support was great with follow up since I had issues with Fn key. I recommend installing the software and updating it along with the firmware. You can change color with the software. Small and satisfying click.

white keyboard but at what cost lol

okay, so there’s not much wrong with this keyboard at all, but do keep these things in mind while buying.

CONS

1) feels awkward. the keycaps are huge but very sensitive, which i suppose could be someone’s cup of tea, but it’s horrendous for gaming and fat fingering keys by accident can cost you a game.

2) the functions are confusing. i’ve had to look up instructions on how to take the RK61 off numlock or function lock or whatever it may be numerous times. like, enough to frustrate.

PROS

1) the light animations! i’ve had a lot of fun playing around with that setting. my favourite is when you press a key and it + a few surrounding keys light up and then slowly fade to dark.

2) hot-swappable. both problems i mentioned in the first half could be fixed by changing the keycaps and the switches. you might run into problems with that though since a bunch of keys have random second functions, so i would recommend just changing the switches.

all in all, not bad. especially if you’re just looking for a white wireless keyboard.

The 60% form factor budget god

This is the cheapest mechanical keyboard I’ve ever owned, and it’s my new favorite keyboard. (I chose the RGB one) The build quality is surprisingly good for the price. I see a lot of negative reviews from people who bought the keyboard for use other than gaming talking about bad keymapping, and my response to that is why did you buy a gaming keyboard? If you are a software editor or something (not a gamer) why don’t you get a full form factor keyboard with all the buttons you need, instead of getting a 60% keyboard designed for gaming and then complaining about how it’s hard to access certain keys? For $50 you get awesome looking rgb (the clear switches look great) with backlighting, you get hot swappable switches, and you get three different connection methods through usb dongle, Bluetooth, or wired. Aside from all those features that are objectively good, the stock switches on this keyboard feel great in my opinion. I spent $20 on some hyperx pudding keycaps and now my keyboard looks and feels even better. So, I guess my verdict is; if you play games, buy it. If you want a keyboard for other purposes, I would probably look elsewhere.

If your in the keyboard community then needs modding but overall 10/10.

I bought this for 50 dollars for my gaming setup, I bought it in white with the linear red switches and then modded it. The modding process cost around another 70 dollars but that was to my preference. If you are a gamer I recommend buying this and then putting in some lighter switches or changing the looks if you want. If you are using this for work use then this stock should be more than enough for your standard. I have seen some people say that 60% just isn't the right layout for them so if this keyboard seems too small or foreign because of the compact size then I don't recommend buying it. If you don't think this is the right layout then I would recommend the TKL boards or the standard full-size layout. Overall if you are a gamer or someone who wants desk space then it's a good buy.

Perfect budget mechanical keyboard

Super nice mechanical keyboard and it is a very budget friendly one. I tested it against my friends gk 61 which was $80 and this one had better functionality like Bluetooth and led controls.

Amazing value

This keyboard isn't the best there is. It isn't the greatest thing you will touch. However it is one of the best keyboards in this price range. I don't like playing video games, and am not a fan of rgb, so I turned down the brightness of the lights on the keyboard and it works great. I like the feel of the red switches, but it is a little louder than I expected. The function commands are a little confusing and understanding the User Manual is a chore, but once you get past it, the experience of using the keyboard is phenomenal. The Bluetooth feature is extremely useful especially for people who don't like clutter. I personally didn't find any problems with Bluetooth connection

Decent keyboard

Great compact keyboard with solid build and smooth typing experience. The triple connectivity options are super convenient, and battery life is impressive. Only downside is the single colour backlight, but overall still a great value for the price.

Affordable Budget Entry Level Keyboard

Perfect budget keyboard does everything I need it to. I use it daily and no keys have broken on me so far. It is comfortable. It functions as advertised. The lag is close to non you ca barely click the key and it’ll register. It is stable doesn’t feel cheap. The noise level is nice and the way it sounds is satisfying. If you get the only blue option you can’t have multiple colors but is still customizable.
